Watching the clips on YouTube inspired this B/J ficlet, because I just couldn't help imagining that the QAF gang would find it funny that Luke and Noah have only kissed after being together for several !gasp! weeks. Hope you all get a chuckle out of this. Title: As the Queer Turns (Thanks, Shadow!) Timeframe: present day Beta: Warning: Implied that B/J have progressed to having sex sans condoms ( The Story ) December 6th, 2007: Happy Birthday! So, I'm hoping, in addition to putting up our tree and decorations, to have lots of quality LJ/IJ time! A long time ago, someone, and I believe it was Title: The Deal Timeline: Many years in the future... Warning: Nothing profound here, just fun (hopefully)! Beta: The always fabulous Disclaimer: I don't own anything remotely related to QAF, except one of the terrible books. ( The Deal ) October 23rd, 2007: Random musings.... Hi all. I'm just a few days late to read the JK Rowling quote where she declares Dumbledore to be gay. I'm probably trying your patience, but I'm curious as to everyone's reaction to that news. ( more blathering ) October 17th, 2007:

![]() Another "wow-I-miss-you-all" post. I've just been insanely busy and not sleeping well. Anyone have any remedies for middle-of-the-night insomnia? I'm hoping to someday catch up with you all... In happy news, we leave for our annual journey to Grand Cayman tonight. Please everyone think positive thoughts that the Weather Channel is absolutely cracked and we will not have rain constantly throughout our vacation. If anyone would like, I'll try to post some photos when I get back Current Mood: September 25th, 2007: Dexter love So, f-list, I'm been missing you like crazy lately, because my RL keeps intruding. I haven't even found the time to go to the store to get the latest Dexter book, so please share with me if you've read it and your opinion. Since Showtime brought us QAF and Dexter, I'll do a little advertising for them... ![]() cross-posted on LJ September 13th, 2007: Slice-of-Life B/J Vignette/Tribute to Madeliene L'Engle You may be looking at the subject heading wondering if I've finally lost it for good, but I assure you the vignette isn't crack Title: IT Timeline: Season 2 Beta: ( IT ) Current Mood: September 10th, 2007: New Vignette Hmmm. I don't know when a vignette ends and a ficlet begins, so let's call this a vignlet. This is a follow-up to my racquetball vignette, "The Perfect Opponent," (found at http://catcayman.livejournal.com/12 ( The drabble and The Next Morning ) September 9th, 2007: Amazing... ![]() Another non-QAF post...however, I do believe that Roger Federer is perfection in his own way. I'm not a huge tennis fan anymore, not since Stefan Edberg, but I think it truly possible that Roger Federer is the best tennis player EVER, and we are getting to watch his brilliance. He won the US Open again today, which was his 12th Grand Slam victory. And he's rather hot too. ;) *cross-posted at LJ*( A pic from today... ) Current Mood: September 7th, 2007: Musing on Books I just saw an article on Yahoo that Madeleine L'Engle died. She wrote the most fantastic children's fantasy/sci-fi books, including A Wrinkle in Time, which I clearly remember as the first book obsession I ever had. She also started a deep and enduring love for these genres. Do any of you have any favorite books from your late childhood/early teenage years? Here's mine, for fun. First book to make me bawl crying like a baby: Clan of the Cave Bear First book that I thought was ridiculously clever: The Westing Game Most overhyped book that I had to read for English: The Great Gatsby Best Silly Fluffy Pleasure Reading book: The Vampire Diaries Book that opened my eyes to the outside world: Island of the Blue Dolphins ETA: Also, I just remember A Tree Grows in Brooklyn just ripped my heart out. *crossposted on LJ* Current Mood: August 31st, 2007: Bring Back the Porn Early Hello, F-list! So, here's a link to a previous story of mine that is probably one of my favorite things I've written. Come on, it's crack!fic and smut! As Tweak says, thanks to The Naked Guy. Oh my dear f-list, sometimes the craziness just overtakes me and I write these vignettes/ficlets. I'm certainly hoping that it makes you smile, even if it's more of a grimace. (cross posted to my LJ--so you can grimace twice!) Also, I am finding it seriously funny that the ad at the top of my page is for Ambien. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Title: The Perfect Opponent Rating: R Beta: A/N: Dedicated to ( The Perfect Opponent ) Current Mood: August 27th, 2007: ?tracking a comment? Tweak and I are having a show-down, and he is winning. Hope it gives you a chuckle as well, if you haven't seen it before: ![]() Current Mood: August 16th, 2007: Challenge Fic and an Utterly Unrelated Rant The rant will come first, so feel free to just skip over it because it is utterly disgusting.
